Are you itching to chase that adrenaline rush you get every time you coast through mud on your side by side? Here in Kentucky, our rich environment provides you with plenty of off-roading opportunities. You’ll find scenic forest trails, unique natural wonders, hilly regions and riverside tracks.

Big Country Powersports in Bowling Green has chosen a few popular off-roading parks for you to explore this weekend with your family and friends! Fuel up your side by side and get ready for an adventure you won’t soon forget.

Blue Holler Offroad Park (Mammoth Cave, KY)

This park welcomes all powersports enthusiasts to ride its 1,200 acres of woodland trails. A sand cave that’s large enough for vehicles to drive through is a popular attraction within the park. You’ll be able to camp with paid admission nearby, and you’re only a stone’s throw from one of America’s most beautiful national parks: Mammoth Cave State Park, the longest known cave system in the world! Nothing but pure adventure awaits you here.

From Big Country Powersports, head north on Nashville Road, take University Drive at the roundabout and follow it as it becomes Kentucky Street, then US-31W N. Follow this for 29 miles before turning left onto KY-101 N, which will merge into KY-259 N for about 9 miles. In Brownsville, make a slight left to stay on KY-259 N for another 7 miles, then continue onto KY-728 before turning right onto Ollie Road.

Wildcat Off-Road Park (East Bernstadt, KY)

Plenty of long loops are found at this 2000-acre park with wide, hard-packed trails that are ideal for beginning riders. Over 100 miles of trails are available for side by side riding. Wildcat Off-Road Park is right in the midst of the Daniel Boone National Forest, so you’ll have no shortage of beautiful views of nature at its best.

To get here from Big Country Powersports, you’ll head south on Nashville Road, turning right onto KY-9007 S, which will take you to I-65 N/Cumberland Parkway, which you’ll want to follow for 112 miles. A mile after you cross Lake Cumberland, you’ll take the KY-914 exit, which will lead you to KY-80 heading towards Somerset. Travel this road for 40 miles until you get to US-25 N/Laurel Road, where you’ll find Wildcat Off-Road Park.

We here at Big Country Powersports think that each of these off-roading parks is worth a weekend trip, so we hope you’ll try them out! Visit our dealership in Bowling Green for all your powersports needs.
